from physical geometry
A physical sample, measurements or scan data can become the starting point for a replacement model. We first assess what is known and what still needs measuring.
What is a useful starting point?
- Photos of the complete part and the installation area.
- Known dimensions, mounting points and neighbouring components.
- An existing sample or available scan files.
From data to a usable model
A scan mesh and an editable CAD model are different deliverables. The reconstruction approach depends on missing geometry, required precision, available data and the purpose of the part.
